Dispite her friend's boyfriend's sudden demise, Chicken exploded with glee and glomped Spirit Queen.
"Yay! You're finally back, Spirit!" She cried, slowly letting go.
Chicken turned and glanced at Kenji's body.
"Kenji's dead."

"What? When did this happen? And how?" Spirit asked, her violet eyes teking in the horrifying sight of a corpse.

"Just a few minutes ago, he dropped dead, clutching his chest." Chicken explained. "I don't really know what happened, but I didn't do it."
She looked at the tree with the hidden camera wrapped inside it's leaves.
"I checked the footage, but nothing really happened except for Lydia running off with Kenji to tell him something. Let me check it again."
She pressed a button on her bracelet, and an image appeared.
"Omigawd." Chicken gasped, and closed the image, leaving only the sound.

"Oh, Kenji - I'm so glad that you weren't killed," Lydia Rozenthal said breathlessly.
"Don't worry, heh."
"And luckily, everything's going According. To. Plan."
"Yes it is, dear," Kenji smirked.
"So, when?"
"Tomorrow. Tomorrow afternoon. We get Chii. There will be nothing they can do about it."
Another doll stepped out.
"Heheheh. Shall I use my disguise?"
"Oh, please do. It'll...Let's say, freak them out."
They all burst into laughter...
Evil laughter.

Spirit hadn't seen. "What? What is it?" She asked as she got closer to Chicken to support her.

Chii was alone, by herself in the house eating some chocolat mint ice cream.
"The last thing he gave me before he died..." She whispered.

"chicken??" Spirit asked. She decided she ought to get Chicken out of this spot, and attempted to pick her up. Well, to put this politely, Spirit isn't the strongest of people, so she managed to half drag Chicken instead and knocked on Chii's door.

"Ugh..." Chicken slowly opened her eyes and blinked.
"Where am I....and who am I?" She sighed, looking at Spirit. "Who are you?"

"Your name is Chicken, and I'm Spirit." Spirit replied in a worried tone.

Chii heard the knocks but wouldn't open them.
After she finished, she walked over to the cabinet with a razor.
"Lydia, come out...Help me."
Lydia came out, and took the razor.
"What would you like me to do with this?" She asked, an evil grin on her face.
"You know exactly what."
"I'm afraid I don't, tell me what to do with this..."
"Kill me, Lydia. Please."
"Gladly." She took the razor, held it up to Chii's wrist, pressed very hardly on her vital veins, and sliced through her skin.
"Ughh.." Chii gasped.
Blood began to seep out, flowing down her wrist.
"Would you like me to stop?"
"No, keep going..."
"As you like."
Lydia did the same thing again, to her other wrist. By now, she was grinning even more...
She knelt down, and licked some of the blood off.
"Mmm, delicious..."
"W..What are you doing?" Chii rasped, her voice dying away. She was losing strength as quickly as she was losing blood.
"Oh, shut up," Lydia said, and walked out of the cupboard.
A few moments later, she returned with a knife.
By now, Chii was breathing slower, her whole body becoming paler and paler.
"Please, Lydia. End it."
Her dying scream could be heard for miles.

Lydia had just left her there, and then...At midnight, she began to change.
Her pale white porcelain skin became softer. Her doll joints began to join together.
Then, after a big flash of black...almost like an atomic bomb, she totally changed.
She'd changed into a human.
"I can finally live life....The way it was meant to be lived..."
She laughed maniacally, and could not be stopped.

Kenji had heard Lydia's laughter.
"Why, you traitor," he grumbled. "You swore by blood, and you swore by life. You said you'd follow the plan. And I'll take it all back now."
Lydia was in a meadow the next morning, rolling around in the flowers laughing...Oh so careless, oh so happy....Oh how nice it was to finally be able to feel, to smell....To breathe...
"Hmph, I'll get rid of that," Kenji growled.
He swooped down, his black wings folding behind him.
"Oh, hi Kenji!" Lydia said, hugging the flowers.
"Want some flowers?"
"Flowers? Did you say you wanted some flowers?"
"No, I asked if you wanted --"
"I'll give you flowers."
"Huh?"
"On your grave."
Kenji pushed Lydia down, and took a knife out.
"See this? This is the knife you used to help Chii kill herself." He grinned.
"No...Get off me...What are you doing..."
He slit her left eye...Then her right...Her mouth....
Lydia screamed in pain.
"You're human now...So you feel everything I'm doing to you, don't you?"
He pushed it through her chest, carving a rose of blood.
Lydia's screams became slower and finally rasps; rasps slower and finally silence.
Kenji suddenly plunged his hands into Lydia's warm, gushing blood, and pulled out her heart.
"This is oh, so yummy...." he snickered.
"Come, Lydia Rozenthal. You were obedient. I shall share it with you."
And, after they buried her...
Like he promised, he put black roses on her grave.

"Who's screaming?" Chicken turned her head towards Spirit's. "I smell rusted iron and salt....I smell blood..." She whispered. "What's happening, S..Spirit?"

But Lydia and Chii had not died in vain.
They joined together, their blood entwined.
And thus - the birth of Yarisu Rozethanel.
A few years later, a few incidents led to more...
